What is Cultural Fit?
Cultural fit is the ability of an individual to be a good fit for a position or organization because they have the right cultural values. There are five key elements to cultural fit: values, norms, behaviors, skills, and job requirements. To find out if you have the right cultural values for a position or organization, you should take the CDW Cultural Fit Assessment.
Who Should Be on a Cultural Fit Team?
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the composition of a cultural fit team will vary depending on the organization and the position being filled. However, some key factors that should be considered when assembling a team include:
-The team’s diversity – In order to truly understand and appreciate the various cultures within an organization, the team must be diverse in terms of both race and gender.
-The team’s skill set – Certain positions may require specific skills or abilities, such as experience working with customers from different backgrounds or fluency in a foreign language. It’s important to ensure that all members of the team have the necessary skillset for the job.
